On the 28^th of February 2023 the department of ophthalmology of TMA have organized joint master class with Huvitz Co., Ltd (South Korea) and Optovik Uni Trade companies on the following topic: “Modern methods of performing optic coherent tomography”.

The specialists of the company Mr. Sangyun Lee and Mr. David Mo have presented the topic and demonstrated the possibilities of OCT. The following topics were discussed:

On the 1^st of March 2023 the department of ophthalmology of TMA have organized joint master class with Huvitz Co., Ltd (South Korea) and Optovik Uni Trade companies on the following topic: “Modern methods of diagnosing on autokeratotonopachimeter HTR 1A and determination of the tear film break-up time in dry eye syndrome”

Operation of HTR-1A

The specialists of the company Mr. Sangyun Lee and Mr. David Mo have presented the topic and demonstrated the possibilities of autokeratotopopachimeter HTR-1A.

The following topics were discussed: Feature of HTR-1A The Principle and Specification of HTR-1A Connection with the HRK MATE Operation of HTR-1A.

The participants of master-class were very active and asked many questions on the theoretical and practical work of the new equipment.

The parties agreed on further cooperation in the field of innovative research.

On February 26, the Department of Ophthalmology of the Tashkent Medical Academy was visited by Dr. Eric Abdullaev, Director for Innovative Development of the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research, Florida, USA. Being a cardiac surgeon, who graduated from the Tashkent Medical Institute, our compatriot left for the USA in 1992, where he began to deal with the problem of transplantation of the cornea and eye banks. To date, Dr. Eric Abdullav is one of the outstanding experts in this field, he owns a lot of innovative developments, and he is the author of the world’s only book on eye banks. During the visit, Dr. Abdullaev gave 2 lectures on the current state of the eye banks and keratoplasty methods. The lecture was attended by 5th year students, staff, undergraduates and residents of the Department of Ophthalmology, as well as numerous doctors from other eye clinics.

01/08/2020 at the Department of Ophthalmology TMA will be held an open integrated seminar on the topic “Changes in the organ of vision in connective tissue diseases.” The seminar will be led by an assistant professor of the Department of Ophthalmology, Candidate of Medical Sciences Nazirova S.Kh.

Location TMA 2 clinic, 1 building 3 floor (start at 12:00).

In 9th of November members of Ophthalmology department Saida Mamadjanovna Egamberdiyeva and Behruz Abdukarimovich Oralov were awarded for their efforts as doctors of clinic in ceremony devoted to celebration of “Medical workman”

In November 28th professor of Medical institute of Voronej M.A. Kovalevskaya delivered lecture “Modern methods of therapy of diabetic retinopathy” for members of Ophthalmology department. Residents and doctors of clinic of Tashkent medical academy also participated in lecture and were active in further discussion.

In 10th of October in Republican Eye microsurgical center took place international scientific and practical conference “Actual issues of eye microsurgery”. During the conference General director of “Fedorov Eye Microsurgery FSI” Alexander M. Chukhraev made a report devoted to modern achievements and future perspectives in ophthalmology. Azamat F. Yusupov and Nazrula S. Hodjaev also made their presentations. Members and residents of Tashkent medical academy also participated in conference. During conference they gave a lot of questions and were very active.

Bot or chat bot (robot) is the abbreviated name of special assistant programs that perform monotonous, often repetitive tasks, mainly in searching for information. The bot shows news on a user-defined subject, finds and 

downloads any information from various 

applications, sends out a newsletter, delivers information about updates on the subject. The bot allows students to get the most complete and in a short time all the information on ophthalmology, which previously had to be searched through various search engines on the Internet.
With the help of the bot, students can get acquainted with the latest literature, videos with various methods of surgical treatment and diagnosis in ophthalmology.
Using a bot has several advantages: It gives a quick response to a request, it operates around the clock, is safe, because does not have access to personal information of the user, allows you to use the bot remotely. However, the use of the bot is possible with the access to the Internet and it must be borne in mind that the accuracy of information on the Internet is not absolute.
